Seascapes
My seascapes are often captured on the wonderful West-country coastline, and of course much further afield too.
I am always drawn to capturing the flow of the waves, it helps me tell the story.
A typical moody Cornish day gave some wonderful conditions.
Lizard Point in Cornwall has some wonderful rock formations off the coast.
The wonderful Armoured Knight looking splendid in the low winters sun light.
Here we have the wonderful location that is Reynisfjara Stacks in Iceland. These iconic sea stacks are well photographed, and I think you will agree why. They are great. Conditions were moody, but I like moody.
Wonderful light on a very stormy day at Burnham on Sea, Somerset, allowed me to capture the moment just as I wanted to
The coast can be just as beautiful when its stormy, I love the raw power on display here.
I have been to this location on a few occasions, and normally only had one type of weather… Wild! However on this day, it was warm and hazy, very odd for February. Still, I do love the calmness of this scene.
You will often find the best coastal conditions after a good storm front. Here it was nice and moody, but still with some interesting light.
An approaching storm at Budleigh Salterton framed this award wining image of the boat Daisy.
Piers do make for lovely images, this shot at dawn is definitely one of my favourites from this location.
